Hi there!

I just wanted to ask you about what you think about what's going on on YouTube. I know that you are moving channels currently, but that's not i wanted to ask you about. I actually wanted to know what you thought of everyone turning against you. You know, for a while, you guys were like, the best fail channel (you still are in my opinion), but around July, i started reading hate comments(especially complaining about that intro), and this month, a number of users were unsubscribing....
I don't know, i love your channels and I'm subscribed, but i just wanted to know what you thought of this...craziness!!!

Not trying to sound like that guy whos on the defensive side, but I think that YDL is in the middle of a transitionary period where some things are changing for the better but obviously has to actually make some changes first! Yes, some will probably unsubscribe during this period because people are, in my opinion, extremely fickle towards even a temporary lack of videos, but I bet that in no time soon YDL will be back with more fails, laughs, and overall videos because the new channel looks like its more than just fails coming our way!

His channel is not transitioning... He had to remove all the videos for multiple third party and copyright infringements. He wasn't paying royalties on the videos, he didn't own them, he didn't make them - he just posted them and made money from it. That's a risky path to tread and it's obvious he's been nuked by some copyright lawfirm... or just youtube. And now he's trying to start a program, "Become a Youtube Partner in 1 day", where he is going to try and profit off other people's videos or do something illegal to make himself more money.
YDL is obviously a fraud, so stop defending them.

He made money off of showing funny videos, that makes him a fraud? Failblog does the exact same thing, and has been doing the exact same thing for LONGER except they show one clip in a video, then make the video about 90% Longer than it needs to be with stupid replays and weird advertisements. OK, so YDL got nuked by a copyright issue. One of two things is going to happen, and we obviously know what they're gonna be. Either the channel is going to get back to where it used to be with its former glory, or the whole thing is going to flat out fail and become a 1 clip per video thing where its just not the same. We'll have to see, and since being a subscriber to an inactive channel is really not the worst thing in the world, i'm willing to wait and see.

Thanks Stromz for sticking up for us! To answer your question Katie, we're going through some changes but the yourdailylaughz channel will one day be up and strong again as it was before :)

Fortunately, the YDL brand is still alive and strong through our current YouTube network, the YourDailyLaughz Network, where we strive to bring comedy channels and partners together in a strongly connected community.
