Imagine winning a medal at the Olympics! Standing on the winners podium and being handed a medal for being one of the best in the entire world at what you do. You’d most likely keep that medal on you at all times as a reminder of how awesome you are.

Well, maybe not ALL times…I’m sure that when it came time for you to shower or something you’d just leave it somewhere safe.

If so, then you’re obviously not Felipe Kitadai. See, Felipe was good enough to earn a Bronze medal in the 60 kilogram judo competition. He was so happy about his accomplishment that he decided to take the medal with him everywhere. Even the shower. Not wanting to get the medal wet however, he stuck it in between his teeth. Unlucky for him, the strap broke and his medal fell to the floor. And the medal broke.

Fortunately, the Brazilian Olympic Committee requested a new medal after the incident which was accepted.

At least this Fail has a happy ending, eh?
