Today’s Stand-Up Sunday spotlights rising English comedian John Oliver. He is best known for his work on The Daily Show With John Stewart, and for his character, Professor Ian Duncan on the television series Community. He primarily works as a correspondent for The Daily Show With John Stewart , having  won an Emmy  in 2009 for “Best Comedy Writing In A Comedy or Variety Series”.

Most people don’t realize that he has been doing stand-up comedy across North America and the UK for over 12 years! His shows usually joke about politics and contain political satire.
